Enkeria 2025 Update: Steam Capsules, Freelancing, and the Future of Game Dev

2025 Outlook: New Services, Steam Capsules, and Career Shifts

As we wrap up the year, I want to wish everyone Happy Holidays! Whether you are celebrating in the snow or enjoying warmer weather, I hope you find warmth and rest this season.

It has been a busy month participating in the Secret Santa Game Jam 2025, where I had the pleasure of assisting 11 different developers with their projects. While I love the community spirit of jams, I’ve decided to refine how I offer support moving forward. To ensure high-quality collaboration, I will be shifting from open assistance to a more curated approach, focusing my energy on projects where I can make the most impact.

As we head into the new year, I have some major updates regarding Enkeria.com, new freelance services, and my transition into full-time creative development.

New Service: Steam Capsule & Marketing Art

I am excited to announce a dedicated section coming to the website focused on Steam Capsule Art.

For indie developers, the Steam capsule is the most critical asset for marketing. It is the first thing potential players see, and it directly influences click-through rates and sales. I am now offering tailored overlay designs, banners, and capsule art designed specifically to grab viewer attention and convert traffic into buyers.

This expansion is part of a larger goal: to master the art of game marketing and pass that knowledge on to fellow developers to help them succeed.

Website Restructuring: The “Service Hub”

To make it easier for clients to find what they need, the portfolio is getting a complete overhaul. The current layout is being streamlined into a new Service Hub.

Instead of a mixed portfolio, you will soon find dedicated sub-categories for each service:

  • Music & Audio

  • Logo Design

  • Steam Capsule Art

  • Web Design

This change will allow you to navigate directly to the relevant portfolio section without clutter, making the experience smoother and more professional.

Industry Thoughts: The Reality of AI

There is a lot of discussion surrounding AI in the creative space right now. While many artists worry about job security, the reality is that AI tools are becoming industry standard—even in AAA game development—for tasks like optimization (“crunching”) and early concepting.

My stance is practical: AI is a tool that is here to stay. While we should always champion human creativity, ignoring the technology won’t make it go away. I believe in adapting and focusing on what makes human art unique, rather than getting lost in the noise of the debate.

Freelancing & Fiverr Availability

I am officially active on Fiverr! As a newcomer to the platform, I am looking to build up my reviews and gig history. If you have small tasks that need fixing or creative assets that need designing, consider hiring me through Fiverr to help boost the profile.

  • A note for fellow freelancers: If you are joining Fiverr, be vigilant. I’ve already had to block over 50 spam accounts. Stay safe and ignore the bots!

2025: shifting Focus

Next year marks a significant lifestyle change. I will be reducing my hours at the Tattoo Studio to weekends only.

This shift allows me to dedicate my weekdays entirely to freelancing and game development. This means faster turnaround times for clients, more focus on my own game projects, and more creative energy for everything in between.

Thank you for sticking around. See you in the upcoming year with more creative solutions and fun news!
