Discipline Meets Creativity

Enkeria is often recognized for atmospheric music and sleeping dragons, but behind the brand is a lifelong creative obsession. I am a dedicated indie game developer (Mutant Shark), a musician, and a visual artist based in Southern Sweden.

For me, creativity isn’t just a job; it is a necessity. If I lose a creative streak, I feel the need to give 200% the next day to make up for it. That drive.. to build, to draw, to compose.. is what I bring to every collaboration. I believe true creativity requires discipline, hard work, and a distinct human touch.

It Started With a Screaming Modem

My journey began in 1997 on my dad’s computer. Back then, internet access was a luxury limited to one hour a day. I used to save my emails as .txt files, write my replies offline to save time, and paste them back in the next day. That limitation taught me efficiency.

I started producing music on Dance eJay and coding games in Klick & Play (the grandfather of today’s Clickteam Fusion). My weekends were fueled by Jolt Cola, Billys Pan Pizza, and competitive Counter-Strike 1.6 LAN parties. I’ve been part of the indie development culture since before it had a name, transitioning from drawing zombies in Resident Evil with a ballpoint pen—because pencils felt like “no sport”—to mastering digital art and game logic.

A Lifetime of Diverse Skills

My professional background is as eclectic as my hobbies. In 2001, I managed visual design at a printing service, learning the ins and outs of Photoshop from a mentor back when removing red-eye was a manual labor of love. I spent years (2006–2011) as an FM Radio Host discussing tech and music, worked as a teacher guiding students through the digital landscape, and refined my steady hand as a tattoo artist.

Today, I combine all these disciplines into a full creative suite:

• Mutant Shark Game Projects: I build immersive experiences, focusing on mechanics, the “fun factor,” and atmosphere.
• Visual Arts: From my early days of hand-drawing Nintendo manuals to modern digital illustration, print design, and art direction.
• Enkeria Music Production: Composing original scores and promotional tracks to set the perfect mood.

Being an indie game developer is challenging. The market has shifted from the physical CDs to a complex digital ecosystem. Consequently, beyond creating my own titles, I am passionate about helping others succeed with marketing, SEO, capsule art and tips & tricks, which you can read in my Update section for free.
