Custom Tattoo Design & Stencils: Get Ink-Ready Art Before You Hit the Chair
Getting a new tattoo is exciting, but walking into a shop without a clear plan can be stressful. Maybe you have an exact vision in your head but can’t draw it, or maybe you want to make sure the design is perfect before committing it to skin.
That’s where I come in.
I provide professional, custom-designed tattoo stencils. This isn’t just about making a pretty picture; it’s about creating a “tattooable” design that your local artist can work with easily and that will heal beautifully.
More Than Just an Illustrator

I haven’t just spent years drawing on an iPad; I’ve spent years behind a tattoo machine.
I started my journey as a tattoo artist in 2018, learning the hard way—hygiene and fundamentals first, then the fun stuff. Because of this experience, I understand how ink actually sits in the skin. Unlike regular illustrators, I know that what looks good on Instagram doesn’t always translate well to a moving, aging human body.
I create clean, precise lineart designed to age well and be easy for your chosen artist to transfer and tattoo.
My Background & Style
I’m a native Swede, which means my connection to Nordic folk art, Viking imagery, and runes is culturally authentic. If you are looking for genuine Heritage designs, I’ve got you covered.
But I don’t just stay in the past. I love the weird contrast of modern tattooing. My personal preferences lean toward New School, Old School, Neo-Traditional, and Cartoon styles. Honestly, few things are more fun to draw than a drunk Disney character sitting next to a demonic horror entity.
Whether you want a minimalist piece, start of a sleeve or continuation, or traditional linework, I can bring it to life.
Gallery: Concept to Skin
Here are a few examples of my digital stencils alongside the finished tattoos created by various local artists using my designs.
How It Works: Sizing and Details
I use Procreate on iPad to create high-resolution files (300 DPI). The level of detail in a tattoo is entirely dependent on its size. A design meant for a full back will look like a muddy mess if shrunk down to a wrist tattoo.
To ensure your stencil ages well, I offer packages based on the physical size of your placement area:
-
Small (Under 8cm / 3″): Perfect for wrists, ankles, or behind the ear. These are simple or ‘minimal’ designs.
-
Medium (Under 18cm / 7″): Great for forearms, calves, or upper arms. Allows for solid detail.
-
Large (Under 30cm / 12″): For thighs, chest pieces, or larger areas. These are highly detailed.
What you get: Every order includes high-resolution JPG, PNG, and PDF files ready for your artist to print. If your artist needs to edit layers (like moving text or flowers around), I can provide the layered PSD source file upon request (sometimes as an extra depending on the project scope).
Please Note: I currently focus on standalone pieces only, no full sleeve designs.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do you need measurements in cm/inches? As mentioned above, detail level depends entirely on size. Knowing the exact size ensures I include the right amount of detail that won’t blur together over time as your skin ages.
Can you copy a tattoo I found on Pinterest/Google exactly? Out of respect for other artists, I will not copy designs 100%. However, please send those images as inspiration! I use them to understand the vibe you like to create a unique custom version specifically for you.
How do I choose the right local tattoo artist for your design? This is crucial! A great design needs a great application. Look at your local artist’s portfolio before booking them. Ensure they specialize in the style you ordered (e.g., don’t take a detailed Nordic stencil to an artist who only does American Traditional). Good linework requires a steady hand.
I live in Sweden. Can I book an appointment to get tattooed by you? Right now, this service is strictly for digital stencil design only. I am not currently offering physical tattooing services or bookings. You will receive a high-quality digital file to take to a tattoo studio of your choice.
Can I resell the design or use it for merchandise? Standard orders grant you Personal Use rights (for your tattoo). If you want to use the design for commercial purposes (e.g., selling t-shirts, branding, or logos), we need to discuss a Commercial Use agreement.
